DAY 1 ARRIVE COLOMBO (NEGOMBO)
On arrival stay at The Beach Hotel.
DAY 2 NEGOMBO – SIGIRIYA
Morning drive to Sigiriya, via the ancient royal capital of Kurunegala & the magnificent rock temple of Dambulla visiting the Pinnawela Elephant orphanage. Stay 2 nights at the unique Elephant Corridor hotel, a luxury eco hotel.
DAY 3 SIGIRIYA
Sightseeing, visit the spectacular rock fortress, 480 AD a citadel of unusual beauty, rising up from the jungle. Polonnaruwa contains the ruins of The Royal Palace, Gal Viharaya, with the four giant Buddhas.
DAY 4 SIGIRIYA – KANDY
Morning drive to Kandy via the spice gardens of Matale. Stay 1 night at Kandy House Hotel and tour the last capital of the Kings. Evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and witness a cultural show.
DAY 5 KANDY – NUWARA - ELIYA
Morning drive to the pretty hill resort Nuwara-Eliya, visiting a tea plantation en-route. Stay 1 night at The Tea Factory Hotel.
DAY 6 NUWARA-ELIYA – BANDARAWELA
Morning drive to Yala via the charming town of Bandarawela. Stay 1 night at the Yala Village. Evening Safari of Yala National Park by jeep.
DAY 7 BANDARAWELA – TANGALLE
Early morning safari, return for late breakfast. Transfer to Tangalle and check in to Amanwella beach resort. Stay 2 nights.
DAY 8 TANGALLE
Day at leisure to unwind on the beach.
DAY 9 TANGALLE
Day at leisure to enjoy the beach and your resort.
DAY 10 TANGALLE – GALLE
Morning transfer to Galle, and tour this main port of Sri Lanka. Afternoon tour of Colombo discovering its cultural charm. Stay 1 night at Galle Face Hotel.
DAY 11 KATHMANDU - BHARATPUR - CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Morning flight to Bharatpur and drive to Chitwan. Stay 2 nights at Tiger Tops, deep in the heart of the park. Afternoon game drive either by jeep or on elephant-back.
DAY 11 GALLE – DEPART COLOMBO
After breakfast transfer to international airport for return flight.
